Tornado Gold Reports Significant Gold Assay Results
RENO, NEVADA--(MARKET WIRE)--Feb 8, 2007 -- Tornado Gold International Corp. (OTC BB:TOGI.OB - News) (the "Company") is pleased to announce significant assay results from its ongoing gold sampling program at the Company's Wilson Peak property, located about 70 miles north of the town of Elko, Nevada and about 20 miles north of the Tuscarora mining district.
A total of 78 rock grab samples were taken on and in the vicinity of the Wilson Peak Property. Fifteen of the samples contain anomalous gold (greater than or equal to 0.045 ppm) and 6 of these samples contain greater than or equal to 0.825 ppm (0.024 oz/ton) as follows:
| Sample | Au - g/tonne | Au -Oz/ton | Notes |
| 121604 | 0.825 ppm | 0.024 oz/ton | Laminated Metasediments - Stratabound Min. |
| 121653 | 1.267 ppm | 0.037 oz/ton | Brecciated Quartzite - Silica After Calcite |
| 121654 | 4.589 ppm | 0.134 oz/ton | Brecciated Quartzite - Silica After Calcite |
| 121655 | 20.77 ppm | 0.606 oz/ton | Carbonate Veins w/ Bornite, Sphalerite, Enargite(?) @ Quartz Porphyry Contact |
| 121656 | 96.00 ppm | 2.800 oz/ton | Altered Porphyry & Limestone w/ Cu, Zn & Ag(?) |
| 121667 | 1.435 ppm | 0.042 oz/ton | Gray Quartz Vein Float |
The Wilson Peak property is located in the Tuscarora Corridor, an important regional structural zone as currently defined by a number of north-south trending faults extending from south of the Tuscarora mining district, through the Wilson Peak property, and extending to the Edgemont mining district, about 7 miles north of the property. A prominent magnetic high at the Wilson Peak property is interpreted to be a hidden intrusion. The Company's working hypothesis is that gold mineralization is closely related to intrusions at both Tuscarora and Edgemont. The sample results reported here indicate that this may also be the case at the Wilson Peak property.
New unpatented lode claims have been located by the Company to cover extensions of the mineralized areas and include them within the Company's Wilson Peak property.
